On June 7th, 2003, students gathered at the Whiteley's Dojo in New Jersey to participate in a three kata Seminar given by Sensei Advincula. First, he taught Katagwa Two (an empty-handed kata which he actually developed before any other and which contains many striking and grapling techniques of Isshinryu Karate done in a Pakua eight form (in all eight directions.) Second he taught Tokoshin no Eiku, a kata which teaches defense and fighting with a common rowing oar. Lastly, Sensei introducted Kusanku Kama, an adaptation of the Kama (sickle) to the empty-handed, Kusanku Kata.
