Empty handed kata, kata employing weapons (kobudo), and kumite (sparring) were all parts of the tournament on October 4th.  Divisions included Women's Black Belt Kata, Women's Black Belt Kobudo, Under Black Belt Women's Kata and Under Black Belt Women's Kobudo.  They also included:  Men's Black Belt Kata, Men's Black Belt Kobudo, Men's Under Black Belt Kata and Men's Under Black Belt Kobudo.  Finally, additional divisions included Black Belt and Under Black Belt Kumite (Shiai).  At the conclusion of the tournament all winners of each division (kata, kobudo and shiai) competed for grand championships.  Quite interestingly, the Grand Champion of Kata was a White Belt woman doing Seisan!!!
