Sensei Advincula is teaching in this seminar how to apply the different opening kamae of kata Chinto to various attacking situations.  He uses here a kamae and then a counter attack against a "mongoose type strike" from another karateka.  In this seminar, Sensei introduced the notion of trigger-stepping which allows one to spring very quickly to the attack after making a kamae-block.  Much of this is original work of Sensei who has spent so many years perfecting the Isshinryu Karate taught to him by his Master, Tatsuo Shimabuku.
