Sensei Harrill was known and well respected by all Isshinryu practitioners in the United States.  He died in November of 2002.  He is sorely missed by all who knew him.  Sensei Gagnon trained under Sensei Harrill at a Seminar on "Chinkuchi" or the "force" of a particular technique.  Sensei Gagnon fondly recalls the feeling of being hit in the arm by Sensei Harrill and the great pain that it caused despite the fact that it did not bruise.
