The first patch, top, is the original one created by Arcenio J. Advincula while under study with Tatsuo Shibakuku Soke in Okinawa in 1961.  The shape of the fist was originally made to the outline of Advincula Sensei's hand. On the right we find the modern update of the Megami Patch designed to honor Tatsuo Shimabuku's passing, also made by Sensei Advincula.  Below we find the oval patch used in Isshinryu today and that of the OIKKA and below those, the oval patch of IWKA along with the current IWKA fist patch (note resemblance to original with correct border, headdress, dragon color & fist shape.
