Founded by Sensei Gagnon, the Fairfield University Judo and Karate Club has survied to the present day from 1965.  Out of the original 107 members, 28 members remained as of the year of Sensei Gagnon's graduation.  Teams, however, had to consist of a designated number of select members.  Here we see the Fairfield University Karate Team taking 3rd place in the nation in Intercollegiate Competition.
